This site follows the building my own Boeing 737 flight simulator. Along the way you may pick up some useful tips that may be of help in your own project.
I have researched the Boeing 737 through articles and drawings on the internet and in books. I have made it my mission to experiment in order to get it right, this in turn has given me a wealth of knowledge that I can share with other people who wish to make their dream come true. This of course is not the only way that is available there are ready built flight simulators from the suppliers who sell finished items with software and drivers to make their units work.
This site will cover my own building and design but also that of a Cockpitsonic simulator with which you can compare and decide whether you would like to buy a ready made flight simulator or build your own. Remember this will take a lot of time designing, experimenting, assembling and soldering.
During your building of the flight simulator you should remember - THIS is a hobby and should not take over your life. It should give pleasure and enjoyment as a hobby and pastime and not replace or infringe upon quality time with friends and family. As the saying goes “all things in moderation”!
